Vienna is the capital of Austria, an economic, political and cultural centre. A building of the art which dates from 13th century, is the Hofburg Imperial Palace. In the interior of the palace you will find a variety of architectural styles, of which the most important is the gothic style.
The Imperial Palace is huge, it has more than 2500 rooms.Nowadays, the palace is dedicated to the tourists, coming from every corner of the world.It has annually over 3 millions tourists. It also develop Vienna’s culture and tourism, being situated in the centre of the city. So it’s easier for people to come in .
Today, the palace hosts several museums, including the museum of Crown Jewels .
Another cultural palace is the Schonbrunn, which is not like the Imperial Palace because it aquires another kind of style: the rococo. It has just 1442 rooms and it became one of the most important cultural monument of Austria.Near the palace, it was built the Schonbrunn Zoo .
The Schonbrunn Palace became the greatest interest of tourism, attraction of the city after 1960.
Both are residents of habsburgs: winter residence and the other,Schonburnn, summer residence.
Spending a day by visiting both palaces means to make your holiday more special because you know Hofburg Palace is considered one of the architecture’s wonders.
