This museum is situated around the Los Angeles chain of mountains. The museum offers to tourists a small train to enrich the

beauty of the museum’s view.

It was built in 1940 as a important place for travellers to explore some old trains, and opened in 1952. Now, it has over 50

years old since it was constructed.

The  purpose of the great museum was to be a “railroad petting zoo,” to increase the number of tourists in such a beautiful

city as Los Angeles, a city of all opportunities.

We could say that on september 1952, Frederickson started the project of his dream in reality. He succeed in setting some works
to obtain the most famous Travel Town’s first exhibits.

Nowadays, this attractive place is one of the most recognized because of its great number of visitors. Annually, more over 1

million tourists come here, specially people who want to follow some of this examples given; a great art that should not be

missed.
