The Camp Nou stadium is known to be the most famous of all stadiums all over the world. It is often called the “Nou Camp”  and it is situated in Barcelona city, from Spain. The Camp Nou stadium is the home of FC Barcelona team since it was constructed, in 1954. The stadium was completed three years later, in 1957 and it was designed by three architects. They were Lorenzo García Barbon , Josep Soteras Mauri and Francesc Mitjans-Miró.

The Cam Nou, or the Nou Camp is also called as a 5-star stadium, and it hosts annually several matches at the senior level and UEFA Champions League finals. The most recent of them were in 1999. The stadium has a capacity about 98,770 seats. Definitely this is the largest stadium from Europe and the 11th largest from all around the world.
The stadium also includes a chapel for players and a shop with several souvenirs.
The old name of the statiudm was “Estadi del FC Barcelona”. But only until the 2000 year, when it was decided to be turned its official name into a popular nickname. This nickname is the recent “Camp Nou”.
