The Palais Garnier is practically a opera-house which is situated on the Place de l’Opéra from Paris, the capital of France. The Palais Garnier has also a second and a third name, the Paris Opéra and Opéra Garnier.

The Merlion is a wonderful  statue representing a lion head and a fish body. The great statue was built by  Mr Lim Nang Seng in 1972 and it has aproximately 9 metres high and 40 tonnes. On 15 September, the same year, took place the ceremony which was officiated by the Prime Minister of Singapore.

The Missouri Botanical Garden is situated in Missouri. Other people called it  “The Shaw’s Garden” . This attractive place was founded in 1859 being one of the oldest botanical garden from United States. The Garden is a center for botanical and scientist research. Its area has around 80 hectares and it’s near the Tower Grove Park, another important tourist attraction.
