Dome of the Rock
The Dome of the Rock is located in Jerusalem. It was built 1300 years ago on a platform over rock. 
This shrine holds almost 1,500 people at prayer, men an women is different sections of it.

The great Dome has around 54 windows, from which 36 are colored glass. The Dome of the Rock rises up to 25 meters high.
The inner wooden dome is decorated with stucco while the colored glass and stone mosaics cover the outer walls of the Dome.
Telling something about the Dome could lead you back into its history. In conclusion, it is believed that the Dome of the Rock is situated on the same place where was the Solomon’s Temple and the Herod’s Temple .
