London

London, the capital of England and the United Kingdom of Great Britain, may be considered as the essence of the civilization and evolution, the victory of intelligence over several things and of thinking over the feelings.

Here you can find some hotels to spend your nights; three stars hotels: Mentone Hotel, The Pavilion Hotel, four stars Abba Queens Gate Hotel, five stars Haymarket Hotel.
Besides these luxurious London Hotels existing there, the Mayfair London also provides apartments for young residents who are coming here to study or work, or just to make friends, then deciding whether or not to make their long-term housing arrangement. And if you’re a tourist who just wants nothing pretentious, you should knnow that there is the London house of brokers who assist clients around the world to sell or to buy real estate, whether they are luxury homes or properties that a large number of customers can afford to buy.
After you’re being installed, you can start visiting the main attractions of the city.
For example, since the Saxon times, the Port of London has dominated Thames from the Tower Bridge to Tilbury, and today its bustle is graviting outside the Greater London, which is a metropolitan area, and down on the river to Tilbury. The City of London is definitely a place to put things in motion: known as the “square mile”, it is the financial and commercial heart of Britain. Many industries that have developed here, and the very large number of recording studios, broadcasting, television or video, advertisers or national news agency are proof more than clear that things start here and then continue in Greater London.

Metropolitan Area, also known as the Greater London is the place to start the London’s tour, because you might need to meet London’s first modern girl to be able to understand the evolution over the years. Make sure you add West End to the list of London vacation’s organization. Here you will know Mayfair, the most modern, elegant and privileged district of London where he runs the largest volume of sales and purchases in the UK, and is also a truly remarkable place to live, work or visit . Mayfair W1 covers the streets of Oxford, Regent, Piccadilly and Park Lane in the heart of London. Surely, it is a real mosaic of people from all places of the world gathered to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of parks.

London Bridge was built over the River Thames in central London, but originally built by the Romans in 80 AD. At the end of XIIth century it was replaced with a stone bridge. John Rennie has built a new bridge which lasted until 1968, when it was bought by an American oil company, disassemble and rebuilt in Arizona in 1971 as a tourist attraction.

Etna Volcano

On the eastern shore of Sicily are rising three large rocks, caressed by the waves. They have volcanic origin and they don’t seem to be like the other rocky formations from the shore. Rocks, they are said to have been thrown by a monster in the footsteps of Odysseus’s ship, the hero of the Trojan wars hero of the Greek mythology.
Homer, the Greek poet of the seventh century before Christ said in Odyssey that the hero of Ithaca and his comrades were held in Sicily by some giant man eaters. Their leader was Polifem more hideous than the others because he had only one eye, sitting in the middle of the crowd. While Polifem was sleeping, Odysseus and the others have sharp  a piece of olive wood, then they flushed into the fire and burning, stuck it into the only eye of the monster, then they fled to the ship with which they came.

Blind and tormented by pain, Polifem tore rocks from the mountains coast and threw them on the tracks of the fugitives. He did not hit them, but even today boulders are still being there where he throw, thing which still remember the terrible power of the monster.
As for the legend’s truth, if we look carefully to the inside of the island at about 20 km, we can see the conical tip of the Etna volcano. Its single crater, blind and deep, is like the monster’s eye.
Not once, but many times during the centuries Etna has demonstrated its ability to spout boulders on large and long distances, and it still gives today such dramatic proofs of its anger from depths.
Its eruptions are fed by a reservoir of lava, of 30 km long and 4 km deep, located under the mountains and fed by huge quantities of molten material filled with gas, located in the depths of the Earth. You might think that place is not at all favorable for human settlements. However, the Etna slopes makes one of the most densely populated regions of Sicily. The rivers of lava that flow are slow and not very numerous, rarely killing someone. People collect even five harvests of vegetables per year and fruits are growing in abundance.
