Finding a great holiday in France

If you are considering taking your family on holiday in France, then there are many wonderful areas for you to consider.

A lot of people like to travel to Brittany, where the climate is not so different from ours here in the United Kingdom, although they tend to enjoy temperatures a few degrees warmer than us throughout the year, it is an immensely beautiful part of France, and you will find the local food to be wonderful too. With more Creperies than you can shake a stick at and a tradition of cooking beautiful sea food, it is a great place to go for food lovers.

A lot of people like to head to the South of France to enjoy the temperate climate, and enjoy a bit of the razmatazz that Nice and Cannes have to offer. Prices will be somewhat more expensive down in this part of the country, but it makes up for it in many different ways. Great food, fabulous shopping and warm seas make this a perfect location for a family holiday, and there are lots of wonderful places to stay. Staying at a camp site is often a good way to save money on a holiday like this, and Keycamp holidays in France come particularly highly recommended. Keycamp sites tend to be very well located for local amenities, and there is always so much for kids to do on their sites. They will be an ideal base for anyone wishing to explore this incredible country.

A great place for a family holiday

A couple of years ago, all my family knew about family holidays was a trip to the English seaside, and to be honest we had had some wonderful holidays, but the year before last, my eldest daughter asked me why we never went abroad for our holidays. I had to be honest with her and say that there really wasn’t a particular reason why we didn’t go abroad – it was just something that we didn’t do. I could see that she wanted to go somewhere new, so I started to look into it.

Normally we went somewhere that we could camp, and I knew that the kids loved that, so I wanted to make sure that I found somewhere that could cater for that need. I had a look online for suitable places, and I found what some Eurocamp Family holidays which looked like they could be really great. They had some fantastic camp sites which I was sure the kids would love, and I managed to find one in the heart of France, which meant that there wasn’t too much travelling for use to.

By the time we had been on our holiday, my wife and I were changed people. We had had the best holiday of our lives, and we were promising the kids, who had enjoyed it just as much as us, that we would go abroad again the next year! I was true to my word, and we had an equally nice time this year at another European Eurocamp destination!

A holiday in Turkey

A tourist region par excellence, with a lot of sights that await you beyond the gates of all hotels in the all inclusive system. Tens of thousands of tourists choose each summer, for many years, holidays with no worries and rain in Antalya, Turkey.
A day in the city of Antalya runs smoothly with the sun disappearing into the sea and the history that comes alive as you descend from the new to the old port in the Mediterranean. Among the traditional houses carefully restored by new owners, shops and craft bazaar with goods that undulate in waves, the heart of the city hides even the heart of fun in the region which is supposed to be the coolest club outside the hotels where you can white your nights during holidays, the well known Ally Club .

Belek, situated in the Antalya region, has the most luxurious, but the most expensive too, five star resorts in the Antalya valley and the Side-Alanya area has low prices and is full of historical monuments, a paradise for fans. You make your choice as you like it, after your budget or passions.

Beyond Belek, toward Alanya, which is also located 140 km away from Antalya, is a few miles of coast and it lies one of the best preserved ancient buildings in the world, the amphitheatre in Aspendos, built by Marc Aurelius. Travel agencies offer daily trips here, and the money you will pay are going to be certainly well spent. Millennium Theater had also periods in which it abandoned the cultural mission. Seljuk from Turkey turned it into a caravanserai because it was an important trade route. Then, a sultan made palace for himself in a strange ancient construction. Meanwhile it was returned to its original form, of a theater. Performances are held at dusk, especially music. From Aspendos you can get to Side in a few minutes, also called the old Antalya, an abandoned city, with remnants of Greek, Roman and Byzantine, who once was one of the most prosperous ports in the region. On Side, the Temple of Apollo is still raising its trunks to the sky, and the trade history with slaves comes alive in guides stories.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam, the capital of Netherlands, has some spectacular places to visit.
As you visit the whole city, you will notice the Begijnhof which is a narrow passageway leading to a wonderful quiet garden. It is surrounded by a few old houses, exactly in the heart of the Amsterdam city. The oldest one is to the no. 34. Old ladies have replaced the celibate Béguine nuns. The entrance on Spui is just a few minutes from the commercial street Kalverstraat. If you don’t find it since the first time, it is indicated by a carved sign. What’s good is that there is no fee for entrance.

Good to be mentioned and also visited is the Oude Kerk church, which is an old protestant one. There are little houses to every side. Itwas built in a Gothic-renaissance style. The bell tower was supposed to be used by sailors when they wanted to get their bearings.
After visiting all these, you might need a break. Go to the Amsterdam Brown Café and feel free to enjoy a simple meal, a coffee, juice or beer in one of the oldest caffes in the city. Even if too crowded, this place offers a unique atmosphere and fortunately low prices.

Amsterdam Hotels are from plenty. For example The Piet Hein Hotel is situated near a green oasis of the Vondelpark. Here you have a lounge bar at the outside terrace and also in the loveliest garden you’ve ever seen. There are smoking rooms as well as non smoking, so that you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

Another choice is the NH Krasnapolsky Hotel which combines the rich history with the luxury today. In this way, no tourists will need to complain whether they want something simple or sofisticated. Also the facilities are approximately the same: a conference centre, amazing restaurants and wonderful rooms.
Also the Estheréa hotel is a great combination between a central location, personal service and priceless decorations. Those who host the hotel are ready to give you a great welcome.
