Because of tis moderate climate, the city organise an international balloon festival which also has the greatest number of visitors around the world. Each year between 3 and 11 October, the city hosts the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta whose fame is recognized also from the 50 balloons which symbolize 50 countries. Even though sometimes bag things happened, fortunately nobody was hurt and it will be organised in such a beautiful way many years from now.
