A couple of years ago, all my family knew about family holidays was a trip to the English seaside, and to be honest we had had some wonderful holidays, but the year before last, my eldest daughter asked me why we never went abroad for our holidays. I had to be honest with her and say that there really wasn’t a particular reason why we didn’t go abroad – it was just something that we didn’t do. I could see that she wanted to go somewhere new, so I started to look into it.

Normally we went somewhere that we could camp, and I knew that the kids loved that, so I wanted to make sure that I found somewhere that could cater for that need. I had a look online for suitable places, and I found what some Eurocamp Family holidays which looked like they could be really great. They had some fantastic camp sites which I was sure the kids would love, and I managed to find one in the heart of France, which meant that there wasn’t too much travelling for use to.

By the time we had been on our holiday, my wife and I were changed people. We had had the best holiday of our lives, and we were promising the kids, who had enjoyed it just as much as us, that we would go abroad again the next year! I was true to my word, and we had an equally nice time this year at another European Eurocamp destination!
